How to clear prechecked check boxes/circles in mozilla?

I remember a long time ago there was a way in mozilla to remove/clear the circles with preset dots or check boxes already checked when on a web page trying to fill out a survey for example or questionaire...how do you remove/clear those check boxes(not sure what theyre called exactly either) in mozilla? I believe it use to be under tools or edit or something, i cant find it now though....How to clear prechecked check boxes/circles in mozilla?
I don't know of a way to do this in stock mozilla, but (assuming you're really using Firefox at this point) there are Firefox add-ons that you can install to provide this capability. Two that have good reviews are ';CheckFox'; and ';Check All';. Details are at the mozilla.org URLs below.
