I just want to know because i brought a car but the man wanted to wait to make sure the check was good. My bf wrote him a check and it is good but how long do you think it should take for it to clear?How long does it take for a personal check to clear?
No, you can only count business days. It depends on when the payee to it to their bank. If they have access to the funds right away then you're looking at 1-2 business days to clear. If they have holds on their accounts then it could take up to 10 business days.
