Other than stretchy clear discharge, whats the other way to check if you're ovulating?

I've heard of the test with your cervix like whether is soft or high or whatever. . . .how do you check that?Other than stretchy clear discharge, whats the other way to check if you're ovulating?
When you are ovulating, your cervix is ';SHOW'; which means:





Soft


Most of the month your cervix feels firm, like the tip of your nose. When you are ovulating, it feels softer, more like your cheek.





High


This is obviously a comparitive thing. Your cervix will feel higher up and harder to reach when you are ovulating.





Open


Most of the month, the os (opening to your cervix) feels kind of like a little dimple or indentation in the middle of your cervix. When you are ovulating, it will feel more like a little hole into which you might even be able to insert your fingertip.





Wet


When you are ovulating, you'll have lots of cervical mucous. The ';good'; kind of CM is refered to as ';egg white cervical mucous.'; It is stretchy and resembles the consistency of egg whites.goodluck.

I was going to say most of what lil B said, so go with that! Also, to check your cervical position (and believe me, this sounds like WAY too much info, but it works!) is to squat and use your middle finger to reach inside yourself %26amp; find your cervix. Then you're checking for all the stuff lil B mentioned. Sounds a little gross, but a girl's gotta do what a girl's gotta do when she wants to increase her chances of getting pregnant, right?!





You can also chart your basal body temperature and/or use OPKs to help determine when and if you're ovulating.
