How long does a cashier's check take to clear when being deposited?

By mail, I deposited into my bank account in Denmark, a cashier's check drawn, by me, on a major U.S. bank...after almost a month, the check has not cleared for deposit.....when queried, the bank responded that ';they have been having problems with check deposits';.....this seems extreme.....comments?How long does a cashier's check take to clear when being deposited?

a cashiers check is a BANK DRAFT, and is guaranteed by the bank it's drawn on.SO...immediatly
It all comes down to the bank you are dealing with. Shop for a bank that listens to you.
Find out with your bank if the check has cleared, if it has not have it cancelled and the funds returned to your account, and this time do a 'wire transfer' of funds to the account at the bank in Denmark
