The father is paying all of the arrears. He said he sent it 9 days ago not including weekends. I've called the local agency they said they received it , but it takes two weeks to disburse. I need to know if that is correct?How long does it take for a payoff child support check to clear before it reaches the parent?
Depends on the type of payment. If it is a personal check, they will make sure it clears his bank before sending the money to you. Usually takes at least one week for processing and getting the information into his file.
