Is it automatic or? I know people will say it was foolish to use but its a bit of an emergency so Im just trying to figure out how long it takes to cash....How long does it take for a convenience check to clear?

If you have a different bank then the one who is cashing it then you have 1 or 2 days. If not then you have 2-3 days.
