It will take 1 - 2 days for the funds to clear depending on the location of the other person's bank.
You are asking the wrong question. ';Clearing'; funds is not final. What you want to know is how long until the other bank reverses (bounces) the clearing, if it's going to. I would allow three weeks, especially if WaMu automatically resubmits NSF checks for second collection.
