How long does it take a check to clear?

after you have deposited into your account through an ATM?How long does it take a check to clear?
Assuming it's posted next day or later in the day that you deposited, there is usually a 3 day waiting period for it to clear. Under Uniform Commercial Code, each referring/payer bank, has until Midnite of the next day to clear/run the check. Assuming that your check is drawn on the same area/federal reserve location or region, that would mean, they have until midnite to run the check; delivered to federal reserve for collection; and then the person's bank who gave you a check has until midnite of the day it recieves it to honor it. So usually about 3 days.

However, your bank may give you conditional credit (or use) for part of the funds, depending upon the relationship you have with them in less time. Ask your bank teller or officer for their procedures. How long does it take a check to clear?
depends on your bank, if it is a out of state check sometimes longer. Call your bank.
I deposit in the ATM all the time.

The transactions at my bank process at 4 pm.

Local checks take as little as 2 days.

Out of state checks can sometimes take 4 or 5 business days.
