If a company tells you to give 2 week for check to clear, does that mean it takes that long to see if it good?

the company is sending me a package, but i sent them a check, and they said please allow 2 weeks for check to clear. So does that mean i wont get my package until the whole 2 weeks are up?If a company tells you to give 2 week for check to clear, does that mean it takes that long to see if it good?
Most likely yes. When they say two weeks, they probably mean up to two weeks, so if they are ahead on processing for some reason it might only take a few days. They just want to make sure the check is good before they send the package out.

Could be...but usually it doesn't take that long. Depending on the company, you could see your package in 3 days to 2 weeks.
