How do i clear my in-box without having to check all of them?

i have a ton of unread messages

If you are using the New Mail, check select all then delete. If you are using the classic mail, most only have 25 to a page. Scroll to and click Check All then delete. If you want more per page, from the mail screen click Options over to the right, then click Mail Options. Scroll to and click General Preferences. On that page scroll to Folders/Search then Message/results per page. You will see a box with a number, probably 25, click the small arrow and choose the number you want per page. Then click Save at the top or bottom left. Then you can delete more at one time faster.How do i clear my in-box without having to check all of them?
if it wont let you just empty the folder (usually a little arrow on the left next to the name of the folder), then there should be a check all box at the top or bottom of each page. Just tick that then press delete.
if you have yahoo...at the bottom is a place to check all....
