Cheques usually take till about the next working day to clear. But that will vary from country to country at times. It's not always 2 working days.

It can clear instantly. It can take five or six days or even more. It depends on the bank you're cashing it at, and the bank it was written on.

It depends on the amount and the bank but usually it clears in about 2 business days.
Varies by Bank Bank of America held an out of state check for 10 days. Needless to say I no longer bank with them
Yeah usually 2-3 days. Maybe a day longer if you mailed the check
